    WOCN Article Featuring Daniel Shockley

    From Daniel:

As an 8 year hereditary colon cancer (HCC) WARRIOR I'm an advocate for HCC awareness and importance of early detection.

My current project has been collaborating with my local state legislators to establish primary jurisdiction to designate the 4th week of March as Hereditary Colon Cancer Awareness week. It's a daunting task. However, I'm battle tested and up for the challenge.

My Vision is to share my journey on the importance of early detection through local, state, national and international advocacy efforts for rare disease and hereditary colon cancer awareness, as a source of inspiration and encouragement with the goal of overcoming adversity.
